About Pristine Handlers
A family-run clearance company based in Barking, east London, working across the United Kingdom.
Who we are
Pristine Handlers Limited is a clearance and cleaning company operating from Unit 5 Town Quay Wharf in Barking. We clear houses, flats, lofts, garages, offices, storage units and occasionally houseboats, and our speciality is probate and estate clearance.
We are directly employed rather than a booking platform. The people who quote the job are the people who turn up to do it, in our own vehicles and our own workwear.
Why probate
We ended up specialising in probate work because we kept being asked to fix the consequences of it being done badly. Documents thrown out. Contents of value gone with no record. Executors left holding a liability they did not know they had taken on.
The order of work we use now — search, log, agree, then clear — came out of those jobs. It costs us time on site and it is included in the price, because a clearance that skips it is not really a probate clearance.
How we work
- A written, itemised quotation before anything starts.
- Photographs at the beginning and end of every job.
- Reusable goods to charity partners, with receipts.
- Licensed disposal, with waste transfer notes for every load.
- No changes to the price without your agreement in writing first.
Credentials
Pristine Handlers Limited is registered for VAT under number 216 680 116, holds public and employer's liability insurance, and is a registered waste carrier. Certificates and registration details are supplied to professional clients as a matter of course and to anyone else who asks.
Where we work
Everywhere in the UK. We are busiest across London, Essex and Kent, and we regularly travel to the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire and the south coast. Travel appears as its own line on the quotation rather than being hidden in the total.
