How this figure is worked out

There are only three moving parts, and all three appear as separate lines on your quotation.

Mobilisation. The crew, the vehicles, the fuel and the tip fees it takes to turn up at all. This is the largest single component of any clearance and it barely changes with property size, which is why a four-room job is not half the price of an eight-room one.

Rooms and contents. Each room type has a rate, multiplied by how full the property is. A lightly furnished house and a heavily filled one of identical size can differ by eighty per cent, so this is the question worth answering carefully.

Travel. Banded by road distance from our depot in Barking. Within thirty miles there is no charge at all.

The tool shows a range rather than a single number because we have not seen the property. If you want a fixed price, ask for a survey — it is free, and the figure we give afterwards does not move.
